Tutoring and Intervention Services

Specialist English tutoring and evidence-based literacy intervention, delivered online and in person. All bookings are paid in advance to secure your child's place. Please use the form on the Contact page to get in touch to discuss your child's needs and my current availability.

Online Tutoring via Zoom Mondays and Thursdays, 3:00pm – 7:00pm

All weekday sessions are delivered online via Zoom. After every session, notes are emailed to the student and family so there is always a clear record of what was covered and what to work on next.

Rate: $100 / hour

Face-to-Face Tutoring Saturdays, 9:00am – 1:00pm — Cambridge Library, Floreat

Saturday sessions are based at Cambridge Library in the Floreat Forum, which provides a calm, focused environment well suited to ATAR preparation and structured literacy work. If you would prefer Ari to travel to you, this is available subject to availability.

Cambridge Library rate: $130 hour

Travel to you: $160 / hour

Ad-hoc bookings (subject to availability): $170 / hour

Literacy Intervention Primary and Secondary

Tier 3 literacy intervention is not general tutoring. It is an intensive, structured, evidence-based program for students with significant difficulties in reading, spelling, or language processing — including those with dyslexia or diverse learning profiles.

Ari uses Sounds-Write alongside Talk for Reading and Talk for Writing to deliver individualised programs with clear goals and measurable progress. Families receive weekly notes so you always know what is being worked on and why. Travel to schools within 10km of Mt Claremont is included, longer distances will be negotiated.

Rate: $180 / hour

Essay and Assessment Review

Detailed feedback on essays and school assessments, covering structure, argument, analysis, and expression. Standard bookings require 48 hours notice. Urgent turnaround and Sunday reviews are available at the rates below.

Weekdays: $100 / hour

Saturdays: $130 / hour

Sundays: $160 / hour

Urgent (less than 48 hours notice): standard rate + $25

Bespoke Resources

Custom resources developed to support specific texts, skills, or learning needs. Quoted based on scope — contact Ari to discuss.

Digital Study Hub

An optional personalised Padlet hub giving students access to their own scaffolds, resources, vocabulary support, and weekly material between sessions. Particularly useful for ATAR students and students in literacy intervention.

One-off setup fee (includes personalised resources for your child's texts and needs): $150

Weekly access during school terms: $30 / week

Parent and Teacher Consultations

Consultations about your child's progress, approach, or next steps are available via phone, email, or message and are charged at $40 per 15 minutes. Straightforward administrative queries — scheduling, payment — are not charged
